We are currently seeking a Business Consultant - Manual & API Testing to join our team in Pune, Mahārāshtra (IN-MH), India (IN).

QA Analyst – Manual & API Testing

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Analyst/Test Engineer with strong experience in Manual Testing and API Testing. The ideal candidate should have experience working on Financial Services projects, preferably within Wealth Management, and possess a solid understanding of testing methodologies, defect management, and Agile delivery practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end manual testing of applications and services.
• Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts based on business requirements.
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman and Swagger.
• Identify, log, track, and manage defects through resolution using JIRA/ALM.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage and adherence to STLC processes.
• Prepare and manage test data required for testing activities.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners to clarify requirements and validate functionality.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Manual Testing and API Testing (Postman/Swagger).
• Experience working on Financial Services projects, preferably in Wealth Management domain.
• Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Hands-on experience in test case creation, execution, and defect management.
• Good understanding of Test Data Management concepts and practices.
• Experience with JIRA and/or ALM for test and defect tracking.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proactive attitude with a collaborative team-player mindset.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing.
• Exposure to automation testing tools such as Selenium or UFT.
