Collections Lead Specialist

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Manage varying accounts and portfolios, including highly complex accounts.
Independently perform credit and collection activities.
Accurately validate and log basic to complex customer disputes in a timely manner to initiate resolution and escalation.
Utilize available tools and resources to thoroughly assist cash application specialists by reviewing received payments and customer remittance advice related to assigned accounts and providing accurate invoice details and supporting documents for proper payment allocation.
Monitor the team’s major disputes and proactively assist colleagues to speed up resolution.
Monitor advance payments and coordinate with the business units to ensure that invoices are raised immediately.
Assist in minimizing risk of non-payment to increase collection and reduce risks.
Review reports and take action to fix discrepancies or inaccuracies before submitting these to POCs and local management.
Act as the team's escalation point for complex issues, recommend solutions, and support continuous improvement initiatives and projects.

For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related fields.
Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Collections.
Excellent computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
Resourceful, assertive, and able to demonstrate leadership qualities in a team environment.
