Our teams deliver the Holman Experience by treating our customers and each other as we would like to be treated, and creating positive, rewarding relationships all around.The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.Auto Park KIA has an outstanding opportunity for a Technician Team Lead to join their team!What will you do?Supervise, mentor and assist with the development of technicians in the workshopPartner with regional TDA & Diagnostic Specialist to assist with onboarding and career development for techniciansServe as a liaison between the Service Manager, Diagnostic Specialist, Service Advisors, Parts personnel, Technicians, Warranty Administration and clientsMaintain close contact with Shop Foreman to support personnelEnsure quality control inspections and road tests are completed as applicable post repairsEnsure adhesion to warranty policies and proceduresPerform all other duties and special projects as assignedAssign jobs according to technician/team skillset and workload requirementsManage team goals, metrics, KPI's, work volumeEffectively coach, give performance feedback and provide development opportunities within own area of responsibility or departmentAssist with employee evaluations and goal setting*This is a productive Team Lead positionWhat are we looking for?Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlinesStrong leadership skills:Keeps people and purpose front and center as they make daily decisionsUnderstands how team’s work ties in with the organization’s vision and purposeFollows efforts through to completionAdjusts quickly to new or changing work environmentExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Has some authority for personnel actionsQualifications:Must be Master Certified.Experienced in service principles, concepts and service department operationsReviewing and improving processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency and accuracyValid Driver’s License with a clean recordWe offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $85k-$100k USD per year.#LI-EB1INDPRAt Holman, we exist to provide rewarding careers and better lives for employees and their families.
