Systems Engr II

As an integral part of Honeywell Aerospace’s global Engineering and Technology (E&T) team, we, Aero China Engineering team, provide world-class engineering and R&D capabilities to support Honeywell Aerospace growth including working with leading organizations like Airbus, Boeing, Dassault, Gulfstream, as well as COMAC, AVIC, AECC, CETC and CAAC to support the rapid growth of the Chinese commercial aerospace industry.

The System Engineer II position is responsible for:

• Design, develop the system/software requirements
• Perform system analysis, review, and all validation activities
• Conduct the review and system check-out
• Perform system/software integration test by implementing the test procedures
• Design, develop models based on system requirements
• Issue investigation and troubleshooting
• Perform system/software certification activities based on criterion of FAA/EASA/CAAC
• Customer Interfacing as necessary

Required Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or bachelor’s degree (211/985, GPA 3.5+) in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automatic Control Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years in Aerospace Avionics with solid working experience in the system design, system integration test, software development, software/hardware integration test, and system/software V&V.
• Skilled in C/C++, Simulink
• Willing to choose Avionic Engineering as long term career direction
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin
• Good Learning Capability, self-motivated

• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proactive attitudes on task commitment and strong teamwork mindset

 

Additional Qualifications

• Avionic Systems and Flight Control/Flight Management System Software design and development
• Knowledge of ARP-4754A, ARP4761 preferred
• Knowledge of RTCA DO-178B/C, DO-331 preferred
