Join ABB and help us drive the future of technology. We are seeking a proactive and strategic Procurement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be crucial in optimizing our supply chain, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring our products remain competitive and sustainable.

You will be mainly responsible for
Designs and implements plans, executes purchasing and logistics strategies to support the business by optimizing costs, quality, delivery and reliability of suppliers and supplied products.
Supports the Procurement Manager in implementing effective local sourcing strategies in line with division's strategy to meet current and future business requirements.
Applies and implements procurement standards, tools, and processes in their own area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability.
Tracks supplier performance Key Performance Indicators, (KPIs), quality issues, procurement processes and activities and creates and updates reports, as required, following the ABB standards.
Qualifications for the role
3 - 5 years of experience in electromechanical/electronics components, such as sensors, switches, relays, connectors, fuses, cable-harnesses, passive/active components and/or PCBAs management.
Strong negotiation skills.
A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in a procurement, purchasing, or supply chain role, ideally within a technical or manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in managing supplier performance and KPIs.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Fluency in English.
