Business Operations AI & Automation Analyst

RomaniaFull-timePosted Aug 4, 2026

Role overview

This role focuses on workflows, local tools and revenue processes that are not naturally covered by corporate or product AI roadmaps. The successful candidate will combine technical skills with business process understanding to design, prototype and industrialise AI-assisted solutions that improve operational execution, forecasting, pipeline inspection, renewal and revenue retention workflows, business review preparation, consumption visibility, financial planning support and field productivity.

The role is suited to someone from a Solution Engineering, Cloud Architecture, Data / Analytics, Automation or Technical Operations background who can translate business problems into working tools, automations and AI-enabled workflows.

Key responsibilities

•   Build and iterate AI-enabled workflows, GPTs, assistants, agents, automations and lightweight internal tools.

•   Translate recurring business pain points across Business Operations, Sales, Solution Engineering and Finance into practical technical solutions.

•   Support use cases across forecast predictability, pipeline progression, business review preparation, renewal and revenue retention, consumption health, knowledge access, financial planning support and field productivity.

•   Develop AI and automation initiatives that increase the efficiency, consistency and impact of Sales, Solution Engineering, Business Operations and Finance workflows.

•   Extract, clean, transform and prepare operational data for AI workflows, automation and analysis.

•   Structure approved knowledge sources for GPTs, assistants and knowledge-to-action platforms.

•   Use approved AI tools, Codex-style development support, connectors, APIs, scripting and automation platforms to accelerate solution delivery.

•   Build reusable components, prompts, workflow logic, data preparation routines and agent patterns.

•   Provide metrics, analysis and AI-generated insights that support better business decision-making.

•   Validate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, traceability and business usability.

•   Help define reusable best practices for AI-enabled workflows, automation patterns, data preparation and knowledge grounding.

•   Work with Business Operations, Sales, Solution Engineering, Renewal teams, Finance and Central Reporting teams to understand workflows, validate solutions and align with reporting governance.

•   Maintain clear and proactive communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment, transparency and adoption at every stage.

•   Identify AI or automation solutions built by reps, engineers or local teams and assess whether they can be governed, improved and scaled.

Required skills and experience

•   Strong technical background in solution engineering, technical operations, data, analytics, automation or internal tool development.

•   Hands-on experience building prototypes, automations, scripts, internal tools or AI-enabled workflows.

•   Strong data transformation and preparation skills, including cleaning, structuring, validating and reconciling data.

•   Experience with Oracle APEX, SQL, Python, advanced Excel, scripting, APIs, connectors or equivalent technical tooling.

•   Understanding of Oracle Insights & Analytics tooling, including Oracle Data Visualization / Oracle Analytics or equivalent BI and reporting platforms.

•   Familiarity with generative AI tools, GPTs, prompt design, AI-assisted development and workflow automation.

•   Experience supporting transformation or process improvement initiatives, ideally involving data, automation, analytics or AI-enabled workflows.

•   Demonstrated ability to operate in an unstructured environment with multiple projects, stakeholders and priorities.

•   Ability to understand business processes and translate ambiguous requirements into practical technical solutions.

•   Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to validate outputs before business use.

•   Good communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable skills and experience

•   Experience in Solution Engineering, Cloud Architecture, Data / Analytics, Automation, Technical Operations or similar customer / field-facing technical roles.

•   Understanding of cloud consumption, adoption, renewals, revenue retention, usage patterns, customer health or technical risk indicators.

•   Experience with Oracle Cloud, OCI, SaaS, Solution Engineering processes or cloud adoption motions.

•   Experience with Business Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Operations, Finance, Central Reporting or go-to-market teams.

•   Experience using Codex or similar AI-assisted development tools.

•   Familiarity with agentic workflows, reusable automation patterns, knowledge grounding and responsible AI practices.

•   Experience preparing data for dashboards, forecasting, pipeline analysis, renewal-risk analysis, revenue retention analysis, financial planning support or operational reviews.

•   Understanding of governance, access control, data privacy and enterprise AI risk considerations.

•   Ability to coach users and help raise AI / automation literacy across operating and field teams.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate is a practical builder: technically capable, business curious and comfortable working in an unstructured environment across Business Operations, Sales, Solution Engineering, Finance, Central Reporting, data and AI-enabled automation.

They should be able to take a recurring business problem, understand the workflow, prepare the data, build a prototype, test it with users and help turn it into a governed, reusable solution that improves decision-making, consistency and operational impact.

This is not a traditional reporting-only Business Operations role. It is a hands-on AI and automation builder role designed to help EMEA move from fragmented AI experimentation to measurable workflow transformation across Ops and field execution.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. 2 years relevant experience and BA/BS degree preferred.
