Job Title: Oracle Cloud HCM&Payroll Associate (Functional consultant)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud HCM Functional Consultant with minimum 5+ years of experience with strong expertise in Core HR and UK Payroll to support Oracle Cloud HCM implementation, enhancement, testing engagements.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive functional knowledge of Oracle Cloud HCM processes and configurations, particularly within Core HR, UK Payroll, HCM Extracts, Reporting, and Integrations, and will play a key role in delivering high-quality Oracle HCM solutions aligned with business requirements.
The consultant will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, conducting solution design workshops, configuring Oracle Cloud HCM applications, supporting testing cycles, managing defect resolution, and providing post-production support. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, technical consultants, project managers, and third-party vendors to ensure successful delivery of Oracle Cloud HCM project.
Key Responsibilities:
· The successful candidate should possess strong functional expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud Core HR and UK Payroll, including core HR configuration, workforce structures, payroll configuration, payroll processing, payroll balances, statutory compliance, security, reporting, and data management.
· Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional, onsite, and offshore teams.
· Proven experience in Oracle Cloud HCM Core HR and UK Payroll implementations, enhancements, testing, deployment, and production support.
· Deep understanding of Oracle HCM Cloud Core HR, UK Payroll legislation, HMRC compliance, taxation, statutory deductions, year-end processing, payroll controls, and end-to-end payroll processes.
· Strong hands-on expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud Core HR , UK Payroll configuration, including payroll elements, balances, payroll relationships, costing, payment methods, payroll flows, and payroll interfaces.
· Experience as a Functional Consultant collaborating with technical teams on HCM Extracts, OTBI, BI Publisher Reports, HDL/HSDL, Fast Formulas, data migration, and integrations.
· Participation in at least 4–5 full lifecycle Oracle HCM Cloud implementation projects, with significant involvement in UK Payroll delivery.
· Strong experience in business requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, functional documentation, stakeholder management, and client-facing consulting engagements.
· Hands-on experience supporting data migration, reconciliation, payroll parallel testing, payroll validation, SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, hypercare, and post-production support.
· Experience analyzing defects, performing root cause analysis, supporting issue resolution, and ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance.
· Good understanding of Oracle Cloud HCM integration points with Core HR, Absence Management, Time and Labor, Finance, and downstream systems.
· Ability to assess the impact of statutory changes, business changes, and Oracle quarterly updates on payroll processes and configurations.
