You ensure the efficient and safe operation of all plant and equipment and assist in supervising repairs, maintenance, and new installations, ensuring safe operations in the hotel. As a HT Chargeman, and contents – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

1)    Ensure preventive and maintenance of electrical installations, air-conditioning systems, fire fighting system, lift and goods hoist are being carried out accordingly.
2)    Troubleshoot electrical devices problems and ensure the equipment, tools and measuring instruments are in good working conditions.
3)    Prepare and process all documentation and schematic drawings on preventive and corrective maintenance works.
4)    Responsible for correct operation of physical plant and all engineering facilities of entire hotel during shift in accordance with established policies and procedures maintenance programmed and operation schedule.
5)    Is responsible during shift as a chargeman for the Fire Fighting Squadron with all fire fighting equipment throughout the hotel according to the Safety & Fire Fighting Policy and procedures.
6)    Is responsible for keeping accurate operating logs according to established policy and procedures. 
7)    Is responsible for correct execution of established maintenance programmed for his section.
8)    Is responsible for and do all necessary repairs in his section ensuring maximum utilization and minimum, breakdowns of assigned equipment. 
9)    Is responsible for preparing work schedule of assigned personal.
10)    Is responsible for distribution of repair and maintenance work in his section.
11)    Is responsible for preparing monthly report and consumption report for his section.
12)    Is responsible for training of subordinates in their respective assigned jobs.
13)    Is responsible for giving daily personal report to the programmer.
14)    Is responsible for keeping Chief Engineer/Maintenance Manager informed of in operative equipment, progress of work, possible delays, job performance, interest, discipline and discrepancy of his crew.
15)    Is responsible for correct uniform and neatness of assigned personnel.
16)    Is responsible for keeping a close watch on spare parts/supplies required and advises Chief Engineer/Maintenance Manager beforehand to reorder in order to have at anytime expected replacements of parts/supplies on hand.
17)    Is responsible for order and cleanliness throughout assigned areas. 
18)    Is responsible for ensuring that all safety rules and regulations are adhered to by assigned personnel.
19)    Assume Engineering staff meetings.
20)    Follows all other instructions that may be issued.
 

1)    Should posses a HT certificate with a minimum three years experience in Hospitality environment.
2)    Technical knowledge in electrical switchgears maintenance experience is essential.
3)    Able to work under pressure, self motivated and a team player.
4)    Able to provide technical support information.
5)    Should posses positive attitude, pleasant personality.
6)    Hands-on experience with in-dept knowledge on electrical fields is a must.
