Supply Chain Consulting – Business Architect (Senior Manager) – English
In this role as a Senior Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering Enterprise Scheduling and Production Planning solutions across Europe. You will partner with clients and internal teams to define business-driven scheduling strategies, design operating models, and support business development efforts. Working closely with technology partners such as Kinaxis and cross-functional consulting teams, you will help clients improve manufacturing planning performance and realize measurable business value.
Responsibilities
- Lead business architecture workstreams for Enterprise Scheduling and Production Planning engagements across complex manufacturing environments.
- Define business requirements, operating models, and solution approaches aligned with clients' Make and Manufacturing strategies.
- Develop business-led scheduling solutions, including value propositions, industry use cases, and reference process designs.
- Collaborate with technology partners, including Kinaxis, to support integrated solution development and successful client outcomes.
- Contribute to technology-agnostic scheduling strategies by evaluating business fit across enterprise scheduling platforms.
- Translate complex production planning and scheduling challenges into measurable business outcomes, including service, throughput, asset utilization, cost, and resilience improvements.
- Provide business architecture expertise throughout project delivery, guiding process design, solution scope, and business requirements.
- Support pre-sales activities by contributing to solution development, proposal content, business cases, and client presentations.
- Develop reusable methodologies, frameworks, and accelerators to strengthen Enterprise Scheduling capabilities.
- Mentor junior consultants and share best practices across project teams without direct people management responsibilities.
- Contribute to thought leadership through the development of frameworks, maturity models, and client-facing points of view.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across business, functional, and technical domains to deliver integrated client solutions.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications- Deep expertise in enterprise and detailed production scheduling across complex manufacturing environments.
- Experience leading business architecture and operating model design for Make and Manufacturing transformations.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, finite scheduling constraints, and execution trade-offs, framed through business value.
- Experience designing and implementing Enterprise Scheduling solutions within consulting or transformation programs.
- Experience working with APS/scheduling platforms such as Kinaxis or comparable solutions.
- Strong consulting, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage senior client stakeholders.
- Demonstrated capability in business case development, value articulation, and benefits realization.
- Experience working in cross-functional project teams spanning business, functional, and technical disciplines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex scheduling concepts for diverse audiences.
- Ability to operate effectively in dynamic, client-facing consulting environments.
- Willingness to work across European client engagements.
- Exposure to multiple scheduling technologies, including enterprise, plant-level, and optimization-based scheduling solutions.
- Experience in manufacturing-intensive industries such as industrial manufacturing, automotive, life sciences, chemicals, or consumer products.
- Familiarity with advanced analytics, optimization techniques, or AI-enabled scheduling use cases.
- Experience supporting Make, Manufacturing, or Operational Excellence transformation programs.
- Experience developing capability models, maturity assessments, process frameworks, or reference architectures.
- Experience contributing to business development, solution offerings, or go-to-market initiatives.
