Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens opened in March 2019 and provides a preferred address for both business and leisure travelers, and the highly personalized, anticipatory service that Four Seasons guests expect and value around the world. The Arion Hotel was built in 1967 and has 106 keys and 61 Bungalows, and the Nafsika opened in 1980 and has 136 keys. Under the same ownership is a large private beach club and marina. Nafsika is open through the year, while Arion and the bungalows operate eight months of the year. Adding to the complement of on-site F&B operations (8 Restaurants and Bars), there are also two third party restaurants on site.

About the Role

At Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens (ranked No. 17 in the World’s 50 Best Hotels), we are seeking an exceptional Director of Spa and Wellness to lead our Spa and Sports & Recreation operations.

As Director of Spa and Wellness, you will be an experienced hospitality leader with a strong background in luxury wellness and spa operations. You will be responsible for managing the overall performance of the Spa and Sports & Recreation departments, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, financial success, and the continuous development of a high-performing team.

Working closely with the Hotel Manager and operational departments, you will play a key role in enhancing our wellness offering, driving service excellence, developing our team members, and ensuring that all experiences reflect the exceptional standards and values of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. What You Will Do

• Lead the overall management and performance of the Spa and Sports & Recreation operations, ensuring exceptional service standards, guest satisfaction, team engagement, and financial performance.
• Develop and implement departmental plans, budgets, and initiatives to support business objectives, maximize revenue opportunities, and ensure operational efficiency.
• Lead, coach, and develop Spa and Sports & Recreation team members through effective training, mentoring, performance management, and career development initiatives.
• Recruit, motivate, and retain talented team members while fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and excellence.
• Ensure the delivery of personalized and innovative wellness experiences through continuous evaluation of treatments, products, services, and operational standards.
• Monitor and maintain Four Seasons quality standards, cleanliness, safety procedures, and service excellence across all Spa and Sports & Recreation areas.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Revenue Management, Housekeeping, Engineering, and other operational departments to enhance guest experiences and support departmental objectives.

What You Bring

• Proven leadership experience within a luxury hotel, resort, or destination spa environment.
• Experience managing Spa and Wellness operations, including teams, budgets, service standards, and financial performance.
• Strong ability to lead, coach, and develop diverse teams while creating a positive and engaging work environment.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Strong understanding of luxury wellness trends, guest expectations, and service excellence.
• Ability to manage operational priorities while maintaining attention to detail and high standards.
• Passion for wellness, hospitality, innovation, and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Fluency in English is essential; additional languages will be considered an advantage.
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in Greece or be eligible to obtain the appropriate work authorization.
