Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Manage and oversee the tracking and maintenance of inventory levels to ensure the availability of necessary materials.
Procurement Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure materials in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyse production reports to track performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and provide actionable insights for informed decision-making.
Schedule Adherence:
Identify and resolve production constraints and delays. Monitor production progress and ensure schedules are followed.Coordination and Communication: Serve as a liaison between various departments, including manufacturing, engineering, procurement, and logistics, to facilitate smooth workflow and resolve any production-related issues.

Inventory Management: Effectively oversees and maintains accurate inventory levels to ensure the availability of materials when needed.
Attention to Detail: Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail in tracking and documenting material movements and transactions.

Communication Skills: Communicates clearly and effectively with team members, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate coordination.
Analytical Skills: Analyses data and inventory reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
Technical Proficiency: Utilises inventory management software and other relevant technologies proficiently to manage material control processes.
Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves issues related to material shortages, excesses, or discrepancies promptly and effectively.
Time Management: Prioritises tasks and manages time efficiently to meet deadlines and maintain workflow continuity.
Compliance Knowledge: Ensures all material control activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Teamwork: Collaborates effectively with team members and other departments to achieve common goals and enhance overall performance.

We offer a competitive salary determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Salary range £32,000 - £41,000 (Shift pattern is days/nights, with a 16% allowance. As the facility grows, the shift pattern may change)
Woodward Operations Incentive bonus scheme – target of 7.5% paid quarterly, discretionary.
Vacation: We offer new members 29 days holiday plus 4 public holidays.
Personal Pension Scheme: All members will be automatically enrolled after month 1 with employer contribution of 9%.
Income Protection and Life Assurance: All members after month 1 are enrolled on these schemes, income protection at 60% of salary in cases of long-term absence and 4 times your basic salary for life assurance.
