Data & AI Lead Senior Manager
You Are:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Data & AI Lead to oversee the data and AI practice at a federal client account. The ideal candidate will oversee a matrixed organization of approximately 60 professionals, including data analysts, data engineers, data scientists, AI developers, and cloud platform engineers, delivering innovative solutions across diverse projects. In this role, you will be responsible for building, managing, and scaling the team, with a strong focus on recruitment, staffing, and the continuous training and upskilling of team members. You will also drive the identification and adoption of cutting-edge data platform technologies and tools to meet client needs and objectives. As part of your responsibilities, you will provide strategic oversight and guidance to a team of 12 data specialists delivering solutions on the Databricks platform. Additionally, you will oversee the management of the AI Innovation pipeline, ensuring the development and deployment of AI-driven solutions that align with the client’s objectives.

The Work:
- Lead a matrixed organization of 60+ data analysts, data engineers, data scientists, AI developers, and cloud platform engineers
- Oversee team staffing, recruitment, and professional development, ensuring team members are trained and upskilled in emerging technologies and methodologies
- Identify and recommend innovative data integration approaches, platform technologies, and tools to support the client's evolving needs
- Manage and maintain the AI Innovation pipeline, driving the development of forward-thinking AI solutions.
- Provide strategic oversight to a team of 12 data specialists delivering solutions on the Databricks platform
- Collaborate closely with client stakeholders to align data and AI initiatives with organizational goals
Here's What You Need:
- Proven experience in leading large data and AI teams, preferably in a client-facing environment
- Deep expertise in data integration approaches and strong knowledge of emerging data platform technologies and AI advancements
- Application of data modeling or LLMs to address client specific problems or expected outcomes
- Hands-on experience with data modeling
- Extensive use of LLMs and other AI technology and tooling
- Experience with Databricks and proven ability to oversee platform delivery teams
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to develop and execute strategies for talent acquisition, training, and upskilling

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
