We hire clinical care professionals who deliver care using telemedicine modalities including asynchronous, video, and phone encounters.Nurse Practitioners function as independent clinicians within an interdisciplinary care team and practice in accordance with state scope-of-practice regulations, clinical practice guidelines, and organizational policies. NPs are responsible for evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients across acute and episodic care settings.The scope of care focuses on common conditions seen in urgent, episodic, and ambulatory care settings for adult patients. Depth in every clinical area is not required; however, comfort treating across multiple domains is essential.ResponsibilitiesObtain medical histories, conduct virtual asynchronous and synchronous evaluations, document findings, and evaluate and diagnose acute and episodic conditionsDeliver care across a broad urgent-care scope, which may include acute illness, primary-care-type complaints, men’s sexual health, hair loss, medical weight loss, UTIs, emergency birth control, dermatologic conditions, and related low-acuity urgent care needsProvide care through both asynchronous and synchronous visits, with the majority of work expected to be asynchronousReview laboratory results and take appropriate clinical action within established protocolsPractice efficiently in a telemedicine environment while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and documentationDemonstrate flexibility in an evolving clinical and operational environmentCommunicate effectively with other providers through comprehensive charting and secure messaging platformsBalance evidence-based medicine with patient preferences and values, promoting patient confidence and continuity of careProvide feedback on opportunities to improve clinical quality and operational processesRequirementsNational board certification (AANP or ANCC) in good standingMinimum of three (3) years of experience practicing as a board-certified Nurse PractitionerMinimum of one (1) year of successful experience delivering care in a primarily telehealth-based clinical settingMinimum of 20 active, non-restrictive U.S. state licensesExperience managing both asynchronous and synchronous patient encountersAbility to practice autonomously within state scope-of-practice guidelines in a production-oriented virtual care environmentComfort reviewing laboratory results and taking appropriate clinical actionStrong clinical judgment across a broad scope of urgent and episodic careExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbove-average comfort with technology and virtual care workflowsTimely, professional, and patient-focusedBenefitsPay & PerksCompensation structure varies by care type and visit modality and will be discussed during the recruitment process.Other InfoThis is a 1099 contract position20–40 hours per...
