Job Description

• Ideal: Highly experienced UNIX/Linux systems/security engineer proficient in C systems and network programming and systems integration in an enterprise environment
• Must have:

• • Good knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating environments
  • Proficiency with UNIX/Linux systems and network programming IN C
  • Experience with Perl programming
  • Awareness of security concepts and defensive programming
  • Familiarity with Kerberos
  • Ability to work to delivery deadlines

• Very nice to have

• • Experience of contributing to open source projects
  • Familiarity with Python
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

• Nice to have:

• • Experience with deployment automation pipelines (Jenkins)
  • Kerberos development experience
  • Comfort working in an agile development environment

• What we are not seeking:

• • Pure developers unfamiliar with deployment and problem resolution challenges
  • Embedded C developers
  • High level language developers unfamiliar with direct use of the UNIX/Linux C system interface

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is:

60,000 to 75,000 USD
