As a Manager in Finance Transformation – Target Operating Model, you will play a crucial role in advising and collaborating with clients to address their most pressing challenges through innovative digital solutions. Within our Finance practice, you will specialize in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations, assessing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to streamline operations, enhance controls, and reduce costs.

As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for confirming project success and maintaining standards. Enhancing your leadership style, you motivate, develop, and inspire others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team member’s unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. With your growing knowledge of how business works, you play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our Firm. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will be at the forefront of digital transformation, working closely with clients across top organizations, not-for-profits, and private clients. Your role will be pivotal in advising and collaborating with clients to solve their most pressing challenges through innovative digital solutions.

Responsibilities

- Lead and support Finance Transformation and Target Operating Model (TOM) engagements, including current-state assessment, future-state design, and implementation planning.

- Develop financial models, business cases, transformation roadmaps, and transition plans to support strategic transformation initiatives.

- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to drive change management, governance, program execution, and benefits realization across transformation programs.Leading the design and implementation of financial transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
- Developing and managing detailed financial models and business cases to support strategic decision-making
- Guiding teams in the creation of future operating models and competency frameworks
- Overseeing transition management and Day 1 readiness activities for seamless integration
- Coordinating cross-functional workstreams to align project objectives and stakeholder expectations
- Leveraging automation and AI tools for workforce planning and financial modeling
- Building and presenting compelling change communication narratives to diverse stakeholders
- Managing client relationships and providing strategic guidance on financial systems implementation
- Driving continuous improvement in financial processes to optimize performance and reduce costs
- Mentoring junior staff to develop their skills and contribute to successful project outcomes

What You Must Have

- MBA (Finance), CA, CPA, CMA, or ICWA qualification with excellent stakeholder management, consulting, project management, and communication skills.

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 8 years of experience
- At least one of the following: Certified Public Accountant
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

- Exposure to Integration Management Office (IMO), M&A integration, Day 1 readiness, and large-scale transformation governance.

- Experience leveraging AI, Automation, and OrgVue for finance activity assessment, workforce analytics, operating model assessment, and transformation decision-making.
