Director of Strategic Programmes
Join OneAdvanced
Supporting the CEO, CFO and CPO. This role is critical in driving executional focus and cross-functional alignment of strategic programmes that result in company growth, value creation, and positive impact on our customers and employees. The position will report directly into the CEO/CFO/CPO and will play a central role in accelerating delivery of strategic initiatives and value creation milestones. The Director of Strategic Programmes ensures the business is aligned around the right strategic priorities, operating at pace, and fully prepared for successful execution and growth. The Executive Project Director will be a senior operator who can translate strategy into action, drive organisational accountability, and ensure progress on the programmes that will most influence growth, margin, outcomes, and investor confidence. The role will sit at the centre of the business and serve as the connective tissue between C-suite intent and functional execution.
What You Will Do
- Strategic Project Oversight: Own the cross-functional planning, execution and governance of the business’ highest-impact initiatives, ensuring timelines, owners, and outcomes are clearly defined and delivered.
- Organisational Change Management: Ensure strategic growth programmes drive behavioural change and are effectively embedded into the organisation. Work closely with project leads, pillar sponsors and internal communications teams to ensure the organisation understands the projects, why we are doing them, the progress, and any changes they need to make.
- Executional Cadence: Establish and run the core operating rhythms—executive meetings, planning cycles, OKRs, and board prep, to ensure clarity and discipline across the leadership team.
- Narrative and storytelling: Capture success stories, data and anecdotes that demonstrate the impact of strategic programmes. Ensure strategic initiatives are tracked, measurable, and framed in a way that builds confidence with key stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Accountability: Act as the driving force behind project clarity and alignment, ensuring functions are delivering against commitments and escalating issues when required.
- CEO/ExCo Enablement: Partner with the CEO and ExCo to increase their operating effectiveness, focus their time on top priorities, and reduce executional drag across the business.
- Special Projects: Lead or co-lead time-critical efforts such as M&A integrations, pricing transformations, strategic planning, and SaaS/PaaS migration programmes that directly impact enterprise value.
What You Will Have
- A background in top-tier strategy consulting (e.g. Bain, McKinsey, BCG), with operational execution experience in a high-growth SaaS or tech environment.
- Experience working on transformation initiatives, such as on-prem to SaaS migrations, product platforming, or PaaS model transitions.
- Demonstrated ability to operate at executive level—presenting to boards/investors and partnering with C-level stakeholders without requiring formal authority.
- Strong knowledge of business planning, performance tracking (OKRs/KPIs), and operational governance in PE-backed contexts.
- An exceptional communicator who can simplify complexity, influence cross-functionally, and build trusted relationships quickly.
- A systems thinker, able to join the dots between programmes and initiatives, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure outcomes are achieved across processes, data, technology and behaviours/capabilities.
- Decisive, outcome-focused, and intellectually sharp—able to shape priorities, hold others to account, and maintain urgency in dynamic, high-pressure environments.
Please note, applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK at the time of application.
