Sr Program Manager, AI Research Programs
The opportunity
The Adobe Design Research & Strategy (ADRS) team is seeking a highly organized, systems-minded Senior Program Manager to drive our “AI at ADRS” program — the connected set of workstreams helping the team Build, Explore, and Scale AI capabilities across UX research.
This role will manage and coordinate a portfolio of AI-focused workstreams — including the Claude Skills Library, GEO-friendly reporting, Synthetic Users evaluation, automated UI/UX evaluation, vibe coding exploration, AI education and curriculum, and knowledge repository infrastructure (Goldmine, Megafront, SharePoint, Frame.io) — working closely with each workstream's driver to keep initiatives on track, well-governed, and moving from experimentation to execution.
This role is ideal for someone who can manage multiple concurrent workstreams, operate across varying levels of stakeholders, and bring structure to fast-evolving, ambiguous programs. This role will play a critical part in helping ADRS mature its overall UX research practice to meet the changing AI landscape.
What you’ll do
Program Management of AI-focused Workstreams & Initiatives (85%)
Serve as the central program manager across ADRS's AI workstreams — spanning Build (Claude Skills Library, GEO-friendly reporting, Synthetic Users), Explore (automated UI/UX evaluation, vibe coding), and Scale (AI education & curriculum, knowledge repositories/IT infrastructure) — defining scope, milestones, and success criteria for each.
Partner closely with individual workstream drivers to track progress against milestones (e.g., advancing a workstream from prototype to broader rollout), surface blockers, and keep initiatives moving from experimentation to execution.
Own the cross-workstream roadmap and reporting cadence, sequencing priorities and translating status into clear updates for ADRS leadership and the broader team at forums such as AI Day and All Team Meetings.
Drive the rollout and adoption of shared AI and knowledge infrastructure (Goldmine, Megafront, SharePoint, Frame.io, and emerging MCP connectors), ensuring ADRS's work stays discoverable, current, and integrated across systems.
Establish and manage a governance framework for AI workstreams — including standards, cadences, and guardrails that protect research rigor and appropriate human oversight — ensuring consistent practices across contributors.
Run a continuous improvement cycle for the program, incorporating researcher and stakeholder feedback into the ongoing roadmap.
Operational Support (15%)
Maintain program-critical artifacts and shared resources (trackers, distribution lists, repositories) that keep the AI program organized and accessible.
Document repeatable processes and SOPs — including onboarding to ADRS's AI learning paths and curriculum — that improve operational clarity, efficiency, and handoff continuity.
Provide general program management support to ADRS leadership as needed.
What you’ll bring
7–10 years of experience in program management, project management, internal communications, business operations, knowledge management, or a related field.
Experience building and maintaining internal knowledge platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence, or other wiki/intranet tools).
Comfort working with database programs, content repositories, and project management software to track workflows and maintain structured systems.
Proficiency in collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Confluence, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and project management tools.
Familiarity with AI tools and workflows (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-evolving programs.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to create structure in ambiguous environments.
Comfort project managing stakeholders and following up to ensure deliverables are completed.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
What success looks like
ADRS's AI workstreams move steadily from experimentation to execution, with clear ownership, visible milestones, and consistent reporting to leadership.
Knowledge repositories (Goldmine, Megafront, SharePoint, Frame.io) are current, well-integrated, and serve as reliable sources of truth for the team.
ADRS maintains strong research rigor and appropriate human oversight as AI adoption scales across the team.
