Job Description:

GDIT is looking for Application Developer to join our National Institutes of Health (NIH) CIT Hosting and Storage Services Program.

Location: This is a HYBRID role - 3 days on customer site in Bethesda MD.

This role will require you to obtain and maintain a Public Trust and will require you to provide onsite fingerprinting at a designated facility.  This investigation may review personal and criminal behavior, financial conduct, foreign influence, as well as other adjudications.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and coding of software product components, units and modules according to contract specifications

• Participates in analysis and development of test plans

• Tests assigned components and units

• Provides test results and recommends corrections to senior developers

• Supports deployments, updates, and testing activities

• Troubleshoots application issues and resolves tickets

• Updates SOPs, release notes, and application artifacts

Required Qualifications:

• BS/BA or equivalent combination of education and experience

• 3 years supporting application deployments

• Experience with configuration changes and testing

• Skilled in documenting releases and updates

• Required Skillsets and Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting NIH

• Experience supporting large federal IT programs

• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams

The likely salary range for this position is $93,662 - $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
