We currently have an opportunity for an Orderly Manager to join our Health and Education team and play a key role in leading the orderly workforce delivering patient and equipment movement services at Royal Adelaide Hospital.
Reporting to the Executive Manager, Operations and Performance, you will help deliver safe, responsive and customer-focused outcomes that support patient care and essential hospital services.
What You’ll Do
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
- Lead a large orderly workforce of approximately to support day-to-day delivery.
- Oversee timely, responsive and customer-focused patient and medical equipment movement services across the hospital environment.
- Ensure orderly services comply with infection control requirements and SA Health Patient Care policies.
- Build strong relationships with hospital stakeholders, clients, service leaders, suppliers and internal support teams.
- Drive operational performance, workforce capability, continuous improvement and change across a complex service environment.
What You’ll Bring
- Previous line management experience and strong leadership capability, including experience leading large teams.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and confidence navigating complex, fast-paced operational environments.
- Strong customer and stakeholder relationship management skills across internal and external groups.
- Demonstrated experience implementing change and improving service delivery outcomes.
- Healthcare or hospital exposure would be advantageous, though candidates from outside the industry will be considered if they have successfully led large teams.
