What We Do

The Senior Project Specialist supports and leads small projects or key phases of larger initiatives by coordinating cross-functional teams, managing schedules, tracking project milestones, and ensuring successful project delivery. This role assists with project planning, risk management, budgeting, status reporting, and stakeholder communications while driving alignment with business objectives.

What You'll Do:

▪ Oversees small scale projects or phases of a larger project.
▪ Coordinates activities of project team, identifying appropriate resources needed,
and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of project.
▪ Responsible for defining system scope and project objectives to support business needs, as well as define the role and function of each team member, to
effectively coordinate the activities of the team.
▪ Assists in preparing project plans specifying goals, strategy, and staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, budgets, and allocation of available resources.
▪ Regularly facilitates status and milestone meetings with cross functional groups.

▪ Prepares documentation related to project, which may include training/process materials.
▪ May be required to perform duties outside of normal work hours based on business needs.

What You'll Bring:

▪ BS Degree in a business field or equivalent work experience; PMP certification desirable.

▪ Typically have 4-6 years of directly related experience.
▪ Strong understanding of project management best practices and current technologies.
▪ Knowledge of project management methodologies and techniques.
▪ Ability to communicate with team members, customers and management.
▪ Strong project planning skills.
▪ Experience facilitating meetings.
▪ Strong presentation skills.
▪ Experience in organizing projects and budgets.
▪ Knowledge of statusing and Project Management tools to create documents
and reports.
▪ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
▪ Strong interpersonal, relationship building and teamwork skills.
▪ Ability to manage multiple tasks, respond quickly to emergent problems, and focus both on long-range projects and immediate tasks.

Pay Range: $73,900.00 - $98,500.00 Annually

 

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
