We are looking for a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives are achieved while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and employee development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise daily production activities to achieve manufacturing schedules and monthly production targets.
- Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with EHS policies and procedures.
- Drive quality excellence by ensuring products meet required quality standards.
- Allocate work effectively and optimize manpower utilization to maximize operational efficiency.
- Monitor production performance and support cost control against budget targets.
- Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Fulfilment, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to meet production and customer requirements.
- Develop a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Lead Lean initiatives, including 5S, waste reduction, process improvements, and operational efficiency projects.
- Support the development, coaching, and performance management of production employees, including skills assessments and development discussions.
- Manage employee relations matters in partnership with HR, where required.
- Coordinate contractor activities in line with site requirements.
- Provide operational support and cover for peers as needed.
- Complete production reporting and other management activities as required.
- Undertake additional reasonable responsibilities in line with business needs.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university is preferred but not essential.
- Experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally involving rotating machinery or electrical manufacturing.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload and meet production deadlines.
- Good computer literacy, including familiarity with manufacturing systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions while also taking initiative independently.
