Senior Product Manager
Key Responsibilities
Product Analysis – Market Analysis:
–Evaluates business value, feasibility, and internal and/or external user needs of products/features.
–Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment between the customer, the market, and Oracle's goals and strategy.
–Conducts analysis of market trends and the competitive landscape to contribute to competitive positioning.
–Engages customers, non-customers, and partners to obtain market information and discover opportunities for a feature or multiple features.
Product Analysis – Solution Identification:
–Identifies customers' unmet or unknown needs, market opportunities for products, and/or regulatory requirements.
–Develops problem statements for products with moderate complexity and forms hypotheses for new products.
–Takes independent ownership of the solutioning process by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to identify solutions.
–Evaluates and validates different solutions to make informed decisions on enhancing existing products/features or introducing new products/features.
–Creates and maintains required solution artifacts (e.g., regulatory requirements, functional and non-functional requirements).
Product Ownership – Product Development and Road mapping:
–Manages the product lifecycle from planning to release.
–Owns the roadmap for multiple small-scope products/features, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
–Develops feature requirements, resources, and best practices for internal stakeholders.
–Collaborates with stakeholders to mitigate risks and resolve issues.
–Tracks and analyzes existing metrics (e.g., Service Requests, bugs raised, customer feedback, customer volumes) to generate insights on product optimization.
–Writes user stories and acceptance criteria to maintain high product quality.
–Determines the features or experiences to prioritize in the roadmap, aligning them with success criteria and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
Product Ownership – Product Leadership and Influence:
–Acts as an innovation leader for a small-scope product/feature, providing recommendations for overall strategy and direction of products.
–Participates in the development of products to optimize the customer experience and align with business goals.
–Collaborates with team to drive new feature development using agile and continuous-delivery methodology.
Alignment and Collaboration:
–Collaborates with cross-functional partners, ensuring alignment across teams within the organization.
–Identifies pushback from stakeholders and uses data to address it.
–Works with senior team members to identify potential solutions tied to OKRs and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
–Partners with others in driving business impact across organizations, and tracking success criteria and performance metrics (e.g., OKRs, KPIs) for multiple small-scope products/features.
–Contributes to defining parameters for user testing and provides input on product iterations based on test results.
Customer-Centricity:
–Takes an active role in advocating for the customer throughout the product lifecycle, beginning to anticipate customer needs.
–Engages with customers to gather feedback and understand their experiences with Oracle's products and services.
–Collaborates with customers to understand how to align Oracle product capabilities with customers' specific business goals.
–Captures customer requirements to define new product capabilities and develop feature designs.
–Engages directly with product consumers during implementations to ensure the product meets their needs.
–Coordinates with senior team members to review and prioritize customer issues to ensure satisfaction and quality, escalating the chain as required.
Product Release – Go-to-Market:
–Collaborates with senior team members to develop release overview, field presentations, and demos for the field team.
–Contributes to recruiting and supporting early adopters to validate product solutions.
–Supports the development of user documentation by drafting components of the document.
–Tracks product metrics about adoption, identifying trends and patterns in user behavior.
–Contributes to presenting product demonstrations to internal and/or external customers, partners, industry analysts, and field.

Minimum Job Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
8 years of experience in product/service/project/program management, product design, or related field
OR
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field AND 4 years of experience in product/service/project/program management, product design, or related field
OR
Master's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field AND 2 year of experience in product/service/project/program management, product design, or related field.
Job Skills:
Data Analysis Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data to produce actionable business insights.
Preferred Job Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
9 years of experience in product/service/project/program management, product design, or related field
OR
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field AND 5 years of experience in product/service/project/program management, product design, or related field
OR
Master's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field AND 3 years of experience in product/service/project/program management, product design, or related field.
Product Domain Experience:
3 years of experience in the relevant product domain (e.g., procurement, accounting, healthcare).
Agile Methods Experience:
2 years of experience in applying agile methodologies and practices (e.g., Scrum framework) to manage projects.
Customer Interaction Experience:
2 years of experience in customer interaction.
Certification:
Product management or product domain related certifications (e.g., SAFe Scrum Master Certification, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager Certification, Project Management Professional Certification, American Production and Inventory Control Society [APICS] Certifications).
