Skip to main contentEnglishEnglishBack to all jobsInstitutional Business Development Manager (m/f/d)NeuenstadtFull-timePermanent employeeApply for this jobKey ResponsibilitiesDrive institutional business development initiatives to expand HyImpulse’s market presence and secure new partnerships with agencies, governmental bodies, and research institutionsIdentify, analyse, and develop opportunities for new projects, programs, funding instruments, and long-term contracts within the European and global space sectorBuild, maintain, and grow strong relationships with institutional stakeholders, including space agencies (e.g., ESA, DLR, UKSA), government ministries, regulatory bodies, and strategic partnersDevelop and implement strategic business plans aligned with company objectives and technology roadmapsRepresent HyImpulse at industry events, trade fairs, working groups, and conferences, effectively communicating the company’s value proposition and hybrid rocket technologyCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align business goals with technical capabilitiesMonitor market trends, policy developments, funding opportunities, and competitor activities to proactively inform business strategy and proposal developmentSupport proposal writing and submission, and institutional grant applicationsBasic QualificationMaster’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, International Relations, or a related fieldMinimum of 3 years of professional experience in business development, institutional relations, government affairs, or project acquisition, preferably within the aerospace, defence, or high-tech sectorsStrong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholdersProven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindsetExperience in the aerospace or NewSpace sector, including understanding of institutional customers (ESA, EU, national agencies and government institutions), is a strong plusFluency in English and German both oral and written.
