Job Description
About Genpact
Genpact is a global professional services and solutions firm that shapes the future - driven by curiosity, entrepreneurial agility, and a relentless desire to create lasting value. We serve the Fortune Global 500, transforming organizations through deep business and industry knowledge, digital operations, and expertise in data, technology, and AI. We're an employer of choice for curious, courageous people worldwide, committed to helping them build future-proof careers - while shaping the future alongside us.
Why this role matters
140,000+ people. 30+ countries. One of the largest employer footprints in the markets we operate in. That's not a stat - it's the brief.
How Genpact shows up to talent, and how we keep our existing workforce genuinely informed, connected, and proud to be here - directly shapes our ability to grow, compete, and retain the best. This role sits at the center of that. The canvas is large, the impact is measurable, and the person who steps into this will have the opportunity to build something - not just maintain it.
The role
This is one of the most high-visibility roles in our organization - owning how Genpact attracts talent across India and how we keep 90,000+ people genuinely connected to what we're building. Not a content calendar role. A strategy, campaign, narrative, and show-up-when-it-matters role.
The best candidate instinctively understands that external brand and internal culture are two sides of the same coin. They bring curiosity, craft, and a bias towards impact over activity.
What you'll do
Internal communications
- Build and run internal communication programs that make people feel genuinely informed and connected - not just recipients of updates. Townhalls, newsletters, onboarding journeys, milestone moments - you'll make these land
- Create toolkits and scalable content formats that leaders and local teams can use independently, so great communication becomes a habit, not a one-off
- Step up for sensitive or time-critical communications - moments that demand care, speed, and sound judgment in equal measure
Talent brand strategy
- Own Genpact's talent marketing strategy for India - building a clear point of view on what candidates here care about, where they're paying attention, and how to earn it
- Partner with global brand teams to localize Genpact's employer brand so it genuinely resonates in the India market - not just reads correctly
Campaign planning and execution
- Plan and run multi-channel hiring campaigns - digital (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Glassdoor, YouTube) and traditional (OOH, print, radio) - owning the full cycle from brief to performance review, with particular focus on Tier 2 and 3 markets where traditional media still moves the needle
- Build and activate partnerships with industry associations, tech bodies, and talent forums - so Genpact shows up as the tech player it is, not just another employer booth at a job fair
Content, agencies and stakeholders
- Produce and oversee content across formats - employee spotlights, social posts, leadership messaging, video scripts, careers site copy, internal announcements. If Genpact needs to say something to its people or the market, this team touches it.
- Use AI tools to move fast, and bring the editorial judgment to ensure what goes out is specific, human, and worth reading. Not generated and shipped
- Manage creative, media, and content agencies end-to-end - from brief to delivery - while building strong relationships with Talent acquisition, HR, business leaders, and global program teams
Performance and reporting
- Track and analyze campaign and program performance, and use those insights to make informed decisions about what to improve, scale, or cut
- Communicate and present findings clearly and confidently to senior stakeholders
What we are looking for
- 10–12 years in talent marketing, employer brand, or internal communications - ideally in a tech, GCC, or multinational environment
- Equally comfortable with internal culture-building as with external campaigns, and deeply aware of why both matter
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English - someone who can craft a message that's clear, compelling, and on-brand, whether it's a 280-character post or a 2,000-word leadership narrative
- A sharp understanding of the India talent market - not just the platforms, but what actually makes talent here pay attention
- Someone who takes ownership naturally - sets the plan, drives the work, and doesn't need to be chased for follow-through
- A team player who knows how to bring people along, build alignment, and collaborate across functions without losing momentum
- Fluent with AI tools in their day-to-day - and confident enough in their own judgment to know when the output needs more work
- An editorial eye that can tell the difference between on-brand and just fine - and the instinct to push further
- A high inclination towards delivering impact - genuinely curious, deeply skilled, and guided by integrity in everything they do.
- A degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field
- An existing network in India's talent ecosystem - campus partners, media contacts, industry bodies - that you can actually pick up the phone and call (This is a plus, not a requirement.)
- Availability to support US time zones from India (This is a plus, not a requirement.)
Why join us
This is a role where your work is visible, your impact is real, and you're not just executing someone else's brief - you're shaping the story. If you're the kind of person who gets restless when things are just fine, who asks why before asking how, and who genuinely cares about the craft of communication – we would love to meet you.
