Job Description

As Group Leader for eAxle Testing & Physical Analysis, you will be responsible for building, developing, and leading a highly skilled engineering team that contributes to the successful development and validation of eAxle systems.

You will combine people leadership, strategic competence development, and technical guidance while closely collaborating with global engineering, validation, testing, and project management organizations.

Your responsibilities

• Lead and further develop a team of testing and analysis engineers within the eAxle organization
• Define and execute the group's strategic direction in alignment with business and engineering needs
• Drive competence development in physical testing, root-cause analysis, system analysis, and validation methods
• Ensure successful delivery of testing and analysis activities within customer and platform projects
• Support troubleshooting and problem-solving activities during development, validation, industrialization, and series production phases
• Foster innovation, continuous improvement, and efficient engineering processes
• Build strong collaboration with global Bosch locations and interdisciplinary development teams
• Manage resource planning, recruitment, performance development, and succession planning within the group
• Contribute to organizational development and strengthen Bosch's testing and analysis capabilities in Budapest

Technical focus areas

• eAxle system and subsystem testing
• Physical failure investigation and root-cause analysis
• Design verification and validation support
• Measurement technology and data evaluation
• Reliability and robustness testing
• Correlation between simulation, testing, and physical behavior
• Support of customer issue resolution and series quality topics

Qualifications

Experience and Know-how

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Vehicle Engineering, or a related field
• Several years of experience in automotive product development, validation, testing, or system engineering
• Proven leadership experience
• Experience in global development organizations
• Experience with customer projects and international collaboration
• Good understanding of electrified powertrain systems, preferably eAxles or eDrive systems
• Experience in physical testing, validation, failure analysis, or engineering analysis methods
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Fluent English language skills
• Knowledge of automotive development processes (ASPICE, V-cycle, DFMEA, problem-solving methodologies)
