We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis to join our G&A Financial Planning and Analysis team in Toronto. In this role, you will provide financial support for the preparation and analysis of revenue and expense information for the operating plan, quarterly analysis of P&L and Corporate Function Head financial results, and quarterly and annual financial analysis for Oxford’s Executive Committee.You will be responsible for:
  • Providing financial business partnership support, help teams achieve financial targets, identify risks and opportunities, and provide high-quality financial and other data analysis.
  • Preparing financial analysis, including operational performance trends and variance analysis against budget and historical results; identifying operational and strategic implications; and help provide meaningful, actionable insights, advice, recommendations, and key actions to business partners.
  • Supporting the preparation of detailed line-item-level and executive summary-level forecast and annual plan outputs.
  • Supporting monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting requirements for actual results.
  • Preparing a variety of management presentations and deliverables including budget to actual variance reports, trend analysis, KPI dashboards, etc.
  • Contributing to quarterly reporting activities, including PowerPoint packages for corporate heads, the CIO, Oxford’s Executive Committee, and OMERS.
  • Developing a deep understanding of key business drivers and effectively communicating them to key stakeholders through regular and ad hoc reporting.
  • Supporting cost benchmarking against industry peers.
  • Supporting the existing activity-based costing process and its further development for key cost drivers across corporate functions and business lines.
  • Helping to modify existing and designing new processes to improve operational efficiency, leveraging automation tools and other technology.
  • Completing sensitive assignments at the direction of senior leadership.
  • Developing strong relationships with business partners and key stakeholders across Oxford.
  • Participating in ad hoc initiatives and special projects as needed.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Demonstrated experience in roles with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • University degree and professional accounting designation (CPA, CFA).
  • Experience with Anaplan and/or Yardi finance systems.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis – Forecasting, budgeting, reporting, variance analysis, and financial insights.
  • Stakeholder Communication & Partnership – Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with a proven ability to build trusted partnerships and translate complex financial information into clear, actionable business recommendations.
  • Process Improvement & Automation – Driving efficiencies through process optimization, technology, and automation.
  • Organization & Problem-Solving – Highly organized and adaptable professional with strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and a collaborative approach to work, with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical ability; able to clearly link financial results to strategic and operational activities.
  • Ability to work with large data sets, glean insights, and present findings in a clear, simple, and concise manner.
  • High standards of business and ethical values, including the responsibility to work with confidential information.
 Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Copilot and AI tools to support financial analysis, data summarization, presentation development, workflow automation, and effective business communication.
  • Expert-level technical skills using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Real estate knowledge is highly valued.
  • A people-first focus with a desire to develop meaningful, positive relationships across all levels of the organization.

The expected salary range for this position is $72,000.00 - $108,000.00 per year.
