As an Accounts Payable – Manager, you will specialize in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations within organizations. Your role will involve assessing financial processes, identifying areas for improvement, and designing solutions to streamline operations, enhance controls, and reduce costs. As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for project success and maintaining standards, motivating and inspiring others to deliver quality. You will play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our firm, leading with integrity and authenticity.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will be responsible for providing guidance on financial systems implementation, process automation, and financial shared services. Within our Technology Consulting practice, you will embrace technology and innovation to enhance your delivery and encourage others to do the same. You will take ownership of projects, confirming their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion. By leveraging team strengths and managing performance, you will deliver on client expectations and contribute to the firm's purpose and values.
Responsibilities
- Managing and optimizing accounts payable processes to enhance financial operations efficiency
- Analyzing financial data to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement
- Implementing financial systems and process automation to streamline operations and improve controls
- Leading teams in the execution of financial strategies and solutions for client engagements
- Coaching team members to leverage their strengths and deliver quality outcomes
- Developing and executing project plans, including budgeting and timelines, to meet client expectations
- Conducting financial statement analysis and preparation to support client decision-making
- Validating compliance with professional and technical standards, including PwC's code of conduct
- Addressing conflicts and engaging in challenging conversations with stakeholders to resolve issues
- Encouraging innovation and embracing technology to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 10-14 years of experience
- At least one of the following: Certified Public Accountant
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
