Commvault is seeking a Resilience Operations (ResOps) Lead to join the Risk & Resilience team and help operate and scale our enterprise resilience program.
Reporting to the Director of Risk & Resilience, this senior individual contributor will execute and improve Commvault’s ResOps framework across cyber resilience, recovery readiness, critical service resilience, testing, and governance.
The role turns resilience strategy into operational capability by partnering across Security, Engineering, IT and business teams to strengthen service recoverability through planning, testing, measurement, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and mature Commvault’s ResOps performance across cyber resilience, recovery readiness, operational resilience, and business continuity.
- Maintain critical service, system, dependency, resilience requirement, and recovery objective inventories.
- Coordinate business impact analyses, resilience assessments, dependency mapping, and recovery planning with business and technology owners.
- Plan and support resilience exercises, tabletop exercises, disaster recovery tests, and cyber recovery validation activities.
- Track findings, lessons learned, remediation actions, and program improvements from testing, exercises, and operational reviews.
- Develop resilience metrics, dashboards, reports, and leadership-ready updates.
- Coordinate resilience governance, including stakeholder engagement, action tracking, reporting, and follow-up.
- Identify opportunities to automate workflows, improve scalability, and embed resilience practices into operational processes.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in cybersecurity, information systems, risk management, business, engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in operational resilience, cyber resilience, business continuity, disaster recovery, risk management, GRC, or a related discipline.
- Experience coordinating enterprise resilience, recovery, continuity, or risk management initiatives.
- Strong understanding of cyber resilience, recovery readiness, business continuity, disaster recovery, and operational resilience concepts.
- Experience facilitating exercises, workshops, assessments, and cross-functional planning activities.
- Strong project management, stakeholder management, communication, and executive reporting skills.
- Experience in SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, or technology environments preferred.
- Familiarity with ISO 22301, NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-34, DORA, or similar frameworks preferred; relevant certifications such as CBCP, CBCI, CRISC, CISA, CISM, CISSP, or ISO 22301 are a plus.
- Strong operator who drives work from planning through execution.
- Comfortable influencing technical and non-technical stakeholders without direct authority.
- Able to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-moving environment.
- Pragmatic, risk-aware, and focused on measurable resilience outcomes.
- Clear, credible communicator who turns complex information into practical guidance and leadership-ready updates.
