Responsibilities

• Market making across a range of financial instruments including bonds, interest rate products, NDIRS, and CCS

• Conduct market analysis, leveraging digital tools and data to identify lucrative trading opportunities

• Grow the bank’s franchise business by close collaboration with sales and structurers

• Monitor market conditions and economic indicators to make informed trading decisions

• Manage risk exposures by employing rigorous risk management strategies and tools, ensuring trading activities adhere to established guidelines

• Stay ahead of market trends, developments, and regulatory changes, providing timely updates to stakeholders

Requirements

• Degree holder in finance, economics, or a related business discipline

• Minimum 10-15 years’ relevant experience in Asia interest rates trading, preferably with exposure in the China market

• Extensive knowledge of financial markets, instruments, and regulatory compliance requirements

• Excellent decision-making abilities, coupled with the capacity to thrive under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing market conditions

• Solid experience in utilizing advanced trading platforms, data, and analytics tools

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify key trends

• Proficiency in spoken and written English, Chinese, and Putonghua
