Job Description:

  • Oversees Laboratory Outreach Services, including physician practices, independent medical practices, government agencies, corporate clinics, health fairs, home care agencies, and hospitals.
  • Establishes reporting and approval procedures, delegating necessary authority to direct the work of the Laboratory Outreach business.
  • Communicates the status of service line operations to appropriate authority.
  • Implements customer service initiatives aligned with organizational expectations, resolving problems from patients, physicians, and employees respectfully and consistently.
  • Promotes behaviors that enhance the experience of patients, families, visitors, physicians, and vendors, and fosters staff engagement.
  • Collaborates with other service lines, business units, or departments to establish processes for successful service line operations.
  • Promotes the AdventHealth mission and vision, lives the core values, and ensures excellence in clinical, financial, market, service, and teamwork areas.
  • Ensures adherence to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance plan, local, state, and federal regulations, and standards of accrediting bodies.
  • May assist with maintenance and updating of pricing, laboratory test compendium, client files, and client contracts, and supports the development of departmental budgets and capital equipment requests.
  • Monitors budget performance, formulating action plans to address volume, revenue, expenses, and labor productivity variances.
  • Provides strategic direction and guidance to maximize growth, meets patient and provider needs, and participates in the development and implementation of long-range goals and objectives.
  • Valid driver's license required for travel as assigned. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Solid understanding of Laboratory Outreach, operations, trends, client expectations, patient expectations, competitive environment, and business development. [Required]
  • Knowledge and implementation of regulatory standards including DNV, OSHA, CAP, CLIA, and compliance programs. [Required]
  • Conducts all activities with the highest standards of professionalism and integrity. [Required]
  • Ability to think strategically and to make appropriate decisions in stressful circumstances. [Required]
  • Understanding of financial management, reporting, analysis as well as operational and capital planning. [Required]
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all levels of colleagues; to build and maintain effective, productive teams. [Required]
  • Ability to foster an atmosphere of respect, trust, and commitment to the organization’s goals. [Required]

Education:

  • Bachelor's [Required]


Field of Study:

  • Graduate degree, preferably in business or a health science


Work Experience:

  • 2+ years related experience [Required]

Pay Range:

$81,869.91 - $152,262.94
