Your tasks and responsibilities
Definition of all requirements, planning and compilation of Cabin and Cargo equipment specifications
Coordination with internal stakeholders (Stress, Safety, Maintenance, Human Factors, Armoring, electrical and mechanical Installation, interacting aircraft systems, Certification, Chief Engineering, Procurement, etc.)
Design and integration of the Cabin and Cargo equipment and its components and coordination of all system and equipment interfaces
CAD Konzepterstellung und Vorauslegung von Kabinenequipment, Konsolen
und SystemenValidation of module and equipment requirements and definition and control of qualification and verification activities during the complete aircraft development
Coordination with external partners (e.g. equipment supplier, engineering service providers, Airworthiness Authorities, military customers)
Vendor monitoring, securing the product compliance with the technical requirements in time and quality by conducting reviews and audits
Reporting of the project status and presentation of work results Airbus internally as well as externally
Collaboration in multifunctional teams (e.g. Chief Engineer, Procurement, Program Management, Quality).
Steering and control of subcontracted engineering service provider activities.
Support of the Cabin and Cargo equipment certification by compilation of required V&V documentation
Desired skills and qualifications
Educated to Bachelor/ Diploma degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline
Experience in defence Cabin & Cargo developments
Experience in detail design of Cabin & Cargo components in CATIA, EPD, PASS SSI
Experience in international collaboration
Advanced knowledge in customer support / relations
Strong negotiation skills, fluent in English and German
Ability to handle stressful situations
Team-focused mentality with proactive communication
Openness for regular traveling to supplier sites and Airbus subsidiaries
3-5 Jahre Berufserfahrung in C&C Engineering
