Senior Director, Technical Program Management
Partners with executive management and stakeholders to align priorities and goals using technical know-how in a fundamental engineering area or technical domain. Oversees and forecasts the scope, milestones, and objectives for each technical program, orchestrating the collaboration of teams to drive the successful delivery of each aspect of technical programs within their span of control. Oversees strategies that streamline comprehensive program plans that outline the management process for technical and considers cross-organizational scope impacting products and business. Oversees the development and execution of comprehensive risk mitigation strategies, driving alignment across multiple teams and executive leadership on these strategies. Establishes the vision and strategic direction for technical program improvement across the group, embedding best practices into organization-wide initiatives and ensuring long-term operational excellence and scalability. Leads meetings with executive-level stakeholders to align priorities, drive collaboration, and achieve technical program objectives. Guides technical programs and initiatives to improve efficiency, setting strategic direction for teams to shape these programs. Oversees the technical execution of reporting and analytics initiatives, ensuring enhancements to group-wide technical program execution. Fosters strategic relationships with internal Oracle teams as a technical liaison, ensuring a collaborative approach to achieving organizational objectives and customer success within Oracle commitments.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Management and Execution - Technical Management:
– Oversees the delivery of products or services, implementing and ensuring compliance with all third party, security, export, accessibility, and legal compliance requirements.
– Leverages technical knowledge to identify risks, manage scope, estimate program timelines, request feasibility, testing requirements, and determine appropriate resources.
– Leads strategic oversight and direction for the group's response to critical security escalations, ensuring appropriate access to information, adjusting timelines, and communicating assessed risks and potential mitigation strategies with executives to align on the optimal proposed path to resolution.
– Drives strategic forecasting of program demands and resource allocation, collaborating with key stakeholders to validate predictions and optimize resource allocation.
– Drives the continuous evolution of processes to enhance the reliability, resilience, and scalability of the products or services, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and best practices.
– Develops strategic priorities and plans regarding maintenance activities and ad-hoc maintenance.
Technical Management and Execution - Technical Strategy and Execution:
– Utilizes technical knowledge to identify and manage program dependencies and risks.
– Supports rapid response to escalations, coordinating within the group and communicating to group members to assess risk, determine mitigation strategies, and execute the optimal proposed path to resolution.
– Defines global strategies for various products, including transitions to Oracle Cloud infrastructure, positioning the organization for successful innovation.
– Establishes global delivery standards and guidelines, ensuring alignment with Oracle best practices.
– Engages and leads global initiatives through all phases of Implementation, Incident, Problem, and Organizational Change activities, including process automations.
Program Oversight - Strategy and Decision-Making:
– Oversees guidance provided to team members, ensuring excellence in managing customer interactions, service teams, and stakeholders.
– Oversees and forecasts the scope, milestones, and objectives for each program, orchestrating the collaboration of teams to drive the successful delivery of programs within their span of control.

Program Oversight - Program and Operations Management:
– Oversees strategies that streamline comprehensive program plans that outline the management process for technical, non-technical, and cross-organizational scope impacting products and business.
– Oversees the work of program staff (e.g., development, quality assurance, customer success), developing strategies that ensure successful identification and mitigation of barriers, including risks and issues in workflows.
– Shapes the long-term strategy for comprehensive program documentation (e.g., status reports, program plans), driving alignment with group objectives and business priorities.
– Engages with senior leadership to communicate program expectations, progress, and challenges, ensuring program management best practices are embedded at all levels.
– Sets the strategy for program governance meetings, ensuring alignment across the organization and with senior leadership.
– Creates and champions strategies to lead and direct global teams in achieving operational or functional goals, ensuring alignment with customer service level agreements (SLAs), and productivity targets.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $169,800 to $355,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
