Advisor, Agentic AI and Generative AI
The Artificial Intelligence Centre of Excellence Department is responsible for implementing Desjardins Group’s AI initiatives, promoting AI best practices, developing expertise in emerging AI approaches and technologies and contributing to the organization’s growth and development in this field. As an advisor in Agentic AI and Generative AI, you work primarily in Desjardins’s incubator and innovation lab in artificial intelligence. You contribute to exploring, testing and validating new AI approaches, practices and technologies to inform technological decisions, develop the target architecture and accelerate the deployment of responsible, scalable and large-scale AI solutions. Based on issues and Desjardins’s concrete needs, you carry out applied experimentation aimed at generating reusable learning. This work helps identify the most promising approaches, the best practices, as well as the technologies, frameworks, standards and tools best suited to maximize the value of AI initiatives. Success in this role depends primarily on your ability to transform testing results into concrete recommendations, reusable benchmarks and proven practices that accelerate the development of Desjardins’s AI capabilities. More specifically, you will be required to:
- Identify best practices, AI frameworks and AI standards to maximize the value of Desjardins’s AI initiatives.
- Experiment with AI agent architectures, multi-agent systems, as well as memory, context and knowledge management approaches to understand their benefits, limitations and conditions for success.
- Evaluate protocols and AI frameworks, platforms and system evaluation approaches, including harnesses and the Model Context Protocol (MCP), to guide AI technology choices and the evolution of the target architecture for AI.
- Conduct applied experimentation to validate different AI approaches and recommend the most promising AI technologies for the organization.
- Transform learning into recommendations, guides, accelerators, AI frameworks and reusable assets for the implementation teams.
- Produce and distribute articles, guides, presentations and other specialized content to promote knowledge sharing and Desjardins’s growth and development in artificial intelligence.
