Overview Employment Type: Full TimeShifts Available: Days or Mid shifts Hours: 8's, 10's or 12's Location: Southern Regional Medical Center – Riverdale, GA Full benefits at Prime Healthcare: https://www.primehealthcare.com/careers/benefits/  Responsibilities  Prepare patients and ensure patients are properly positioned on the Computer Tomography (CT) table and explain the procedure to them with empathy, address any concerns or questions they may haveOperate CT scanners and/or X-ray machines to obtain images of the targeted body parts, which may involve adjusting the CT scanner settings to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure, radiation safety at all timesMonitor our patients, as a CT Technologist ensure their comfort and safety throughout the procedureAssist other radiologists, as you will work closely with them, who interpret the images you produced by the CT exam you may also assist in administering contrast agents or perform certain proceduresAccountable for the quality assurance of CT scanners / X-ray machines to ensure they function properly and produce accurate images Qualifications Graduate of a program accredited by ARRTRadiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by StateEffective 07/01/2015, CT ARRT Certification is requiredMust maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment is requiredExtensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is requiredProficient computer skills  #LI-DF2 Employment Status Full Time Shift Days Equal Employment Opportunity Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.
