Our Consulting Delivery Hub (CDH) in India is a critical part of ERM’s global consulting model enabling scalable, high-quality delivery across regions and service lines. CDH teams work in close partnership with regional consultants to support global client projects, providing specialist expertise, driving consistency, and enhancing delivery efficiency across our most important programmes.
As part of the Consulting Delivery Hub, you will collaborate with colleagues worldwide, contribute to complex sustainability projects, and play a key role in shaping the future of global consulting delivery.
Why this role matters?
As a Consultant Hydrogeology Modelling, you will support ERM’s global consulting delivery. You will work within different teams/service lines (i.e.: Site Investigation and Remediation), partnering with SEBU project managers to support projects delivery. This role is critical to improve efficiency/quality of the delivery.
What your impact is?
- Supporting junior colleagues but also Project Managers and Task Manager in analysing field data.
- Supporting junior colleagues but also Project Managers and Task Manager in data reporting, preparation of technical annexes (i.e.: groundwater maps, stratigraphic logs, lithological section, etc)
What you’ll bring:
- Strong knowledge of the latest versions of MODFLOW (MODFLOW-USG / MODFLOW 6).
- Proven experience using PEST for model calibration.
- Excellent hydrogeological expertise.
- Knowledge of hydrochemistry, including the main contaminant degradation mechanisms in the aqueous phase.
- Competence in geo statistics.
- Experience with GIS software (QGIS or ArcGIS).
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with Python programming, particularly using FloPy.
- Knowledge of FEFLOW.
- Basic and multivariate statistics skills.
- Proactive, curious, and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in international and multidisciplinary teams.
- Flexibility and ability to work independently in a remote working environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Support ERM modeller in development and calibration of numerical groundwater flow and contaminant transport models
- Support ERM modeller with the preparation of technical reports.
- Support for site characterization and remediation projects.
- Liaise with other project team members.
