Software Engineer, Agent Harness

Role responsibilities

Build and improve the agent harness for Bionic to make local and cloud models reliable when using files, search, Git, and shell tools. Manage conversation history and context while developing repeatable evaluations to diagnose agent failures.

Requirements

Requires significant experience building production software with language models or developer tools and strong TypeScript fundamentals. Candidates must understand tool calling, structured outputs, and the practical limitations of open models.
