Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to achieve engineering and quality excellence.
Mainly working on full/partial engine overhaul workscope under the Fleet management Program (FMP). You will review and provide engine workscope instructions to the shop for compliance with engineering data during the engine shop visit.
Perform review of Modification Service Bulletin (SB) and provide timely information to the shop when applicable
Analyze out-of-manual conditions and provide engineering solutions in relation to engine part repair and overhaul processes
Liaise and coordinate with engine OEM, airline customers and aviation authorities for engine condition documentation and reporting
Work proactively in addressing potential issues and apply real-time problem solving skills when working towards resolution
Communicate with customers on out-of-manual repair approval thru eCARS system
Propose creative engineering solution to reduce engine turn time and shop visit cost
Liaise with the OEM and subcontractors on engine investigation and repair processes
Participate in Continuous Improvement projects to bring change to the department and company
Assist the Engineering Management in special projects
Requirement:
Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 2 years’ experience in aerospace MRO setting is preferred but not mandatory, fresh graduates are welcome to apply
Able to interpret technical data, drawings and engine manuals (SB, SPM, EM and CIR).
Good working knowledge in MS Office applications (Words, Excel, Projects, and Power Point).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)
Working knowledge in SAP, Solumina is preferred but not mandatory
Versatile worker who is able to work well in a team setting and independently.
Ability to think and process information in the macro and micro level.
Highly motivated and innovative individual who is meticulous
