Job Description
As a Security Officer - Secure Facility in Scottsdale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence for tenants, visitors, and staff. You will manage access, monitor activity, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and clients at a commercial real estate location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Serve as a professional front-desk presence by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals according to site procedures.
- Monitor access to the building lobby and related entry points, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
- Assist with answering phones, receiving deliveries, maintaining required records, and communicating relevant security-related information to building management and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
