Assistant Marketing Manager
The Assistant Marketing Manager will be responsible for multiple areas within the QSR and FRS team. This role will focus on supporting Ecolab's Corporate and Global / Corporate Accounts events through day-to-day activities and content creation, coordination and logistics. This role will primarily support Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) with event support for the Food Retail Services (FRS) division. The Assistant Marketing Manager will work with our broader Marketing teams and other functional areas to deliver customer and industry meetings and events that help drive new business, innovation and the growth of our current programs.
The position will report to the Director of QSR Marketing (North America) and will be located in Greensboro, NC.
Main Responsibilities:
Full-time associate.
Lead project team to support QSR and FRS businesses through strategic planning and execution of internal and external meetings and events.
Working with Creative Services, develop the vision for design and branding at all events – directly support content creation where needed.
Order all supplies and materials needed for events and maintain structure, product and asset inventories.
Serve as primary event contact and manage vendor relationships – ensuring clear and proactive communication to ensure deadline deliverables.
Manage show services for each event, including shipping, utilities, installation and strike.
Create, maintain and reconcile budget documents to ensure accurate expense tracking for all events.
Oversee third-party literature fulfillment partner (inventory and ordering processes).
Manage off-site booth storage—third-party and internal facility.
For all customer events, manage positioning strategy and go-to-market communication of value proposition.
Develop messaging and creative concepts and deliver content that supports brand strategy.
Always ensure adherence to all safety standards and guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Marketing or related field
Minimum of three years of event planning experience—preferably in a B2B environment
Minimum of three years of creative design experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, good attention to detail and use of sound judgment in a fast-paced environment are essential
Ability to build and maintain relationships and coordinate projects across different functional groups regionally
Must have demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
Understanding and commitment to customer priorities
Strong problem solving / Analytical Skills
Must have well-developed leadership qualities with an ability to create strong working relationships with internal stakeholders
Must be proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook
Must be proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA)
Special Considerations:
Travel required (approximately 10%) including nights and weekends.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The base salary range for this position is $107,600.00 - $161,500.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.Benefits
