The Senior Lead Information Security Architect is a strategic technology leader responsible for defining, influencing, and advancing the enterprise security architecture vision. This role partners closely with business leaders, technology teams, engineering organizations, and cybersecurity stakeholders to design, implement, and govern secure, scalable, and resilient technology solutions across the enterprise. 

The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong business acumen and has a proven track record of leading enterprise-wide security architecture initiatives. They will drive security strategies, establish architecture standards, guide the adoption of emerging technologies, and ensure security is embedded throughout the technology lifecycle. 

This role is instrumental in shaping the organization's cloud security posture, secure application architecture, identity and access management strategy, data protection capabilities, and cyber resilience programs. The successful candidate will influence executive decision-making, mentor engineering and architecture teams, and serve as a trusted advisor across the enterprise.



Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead and collaborate with stakeholders on the strategic vision for the enterprise, leveraging security, managed solutions, and traditional capabilities.

  • Provide security designs while leading innovative solutions and technologies in alignment with our enterprise architecture best practices.

  • Define policies and standards in alignment with enterprise security and architecture requirements.

  • Create and maintain roadmaps within the technology and architecture strategy.

  • Lead the Designs and implementation of new, innovative secure solutions within the organization.

  • Ensure design and architecture information is well-documented, up-to-date, and communicated to the relevant stakeholders.

  • Lead the definition of systems solutions to fulfill the functional management of cloud platforms, conforming to established system architecture standards and practices.

  • Provide leadership in threat analysis consultation across the organization, both within the operating business unit and to Information Technology management and staff.

  • Maintain highly technical knowledge of security trends and emerging technologies to best inform secure design, architecture, and decision-making processes.

Required Skills: 

  • 5+ years experience leading enterprise-wide security architecture strategy
  • Experience architecting and implementing cybersecurity technical controls in cloud environments
  • Experience with IT systems, network architecture, and/or infrastructure

 

Preferred Skills: 

  • At least 2+ years’ experience managing multiple projects. 
  • Experience leading threat modeling and risk assessment initiatives for complex, business-critical systems.
  • Possess professional certification (i.e., CCSP – Certified Cloud Security Professional, CISSP, CISM) or comparable certifications. 
  • Familiarity with program coding. 
  • Worked in an agile environment. 
  • Experience utilizing development pipelines and automation (Devops/DevSecops) 
  • Comfortable with delivering documents in MS Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)

Anticipated Posting End Date:

Base Pay Range: $176,000/yr - $220,000/yr

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.  In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
