Your expertise can help support financial futures, assisting families and businesses as they navigate complex tax and wealth matters. As an Associate in our Family office Tax team, you’ll gain exposure to the work we do in delivering tailored tax compliance and strategic planning solutions that help safeguard and grow our clients’ wealth. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals and support clients across privately owned businesses, entrepreneurs, family offices, and philanthropic entities, building your technical capability and client service skills along the way.

What you’ll do: 

  • Assist clients with complex tax compliance issues; 

  • Support the design and implementation of structures that are fit for the purposes of our client's commercial objectives 

  • Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office including representing our clients during ATO engagements, and to manage their tax reporting obligations;  

  • Apply your tax knowledge and experience to clients across all sectors of the Australian economy. 

 

What we’re looking for: 

  • A developing understanding of Australian tax laws and regulations, particularly as they relate to high-net-worth individuals, private clients and family offices. 

  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to support the accurate preparation of tax returns, financial statements, and related documentation. 

  • The ability to communicate tax concepts clearly and confidently to clients and team members. 

  • A client-focused mindset, with a genuine interest in building trusted relationships with clients and colleagues. 

  • An interest in supporting the development and implementation of tax strategies aligned to clients’ broader financial objectives. 

  • Curiosity and a willingness to stay informed about changes in tax legislation and how they may impact clients. 

  • A collaborative approach, with the ability to work closely with other professionals to deliver comprehensive client solutions. 

  • A commitment to delivering high-quality service by being responsive, organised and proactive. 

  • A growth mindset, with a willingness to participate in ongoing learning, training and professional development. 

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to assist in addressing tax-related issues efficiently and effectively.
