With so many possible directions, your role is to frame the problems worth solving and guide where we goThink in systems, considering how features work together holistically rather than in isolationConnect user needs with business objectives, serving as the bridge between what users need and what the business requiresMake judgment calls under pressure, knowing when something is genuinely good and when it needs more timeHands-on executionMove from concept to testable prototype quickly, so more of your time goes into the creative and strategic decisionsUse AI tools (Claude Code, Codex, and others) to rapidly prototype, iterate, and validate conceptsValidate and refine outputs from any source, applying your taste and judgment to ensure qualityWho you areCore traitsNaturally curious and self-directed: you explore products deeply, ask "why," and don't wait to be told what to doHigh learning velocity: you can quickly pick up new tools, frameworks, and ways of workingTaste and judgment: you know when something needs more refinement and when it's good enough to ship, and you care about the details no one else noticesUser-first thinking: every design decision comes back to whether it's making someone's life betterPride in being part of a small team: small teams move fast and own outcomes end to end.
