As a Merger & Acquisition Senior Associate, you will provide tax advice and guidance during mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions, helping clients navigate complex tax regulations to optimize their tax outcomes. Within our Tax practice, you will focus on analyzing the tax implications of transactions, developing tax structures, and assisting clients in navigating intricate tax regulations. As a Senior Associate, you will build meaningful client connections, manage and inspire others, and navigate increasingly complex situations. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality work while embracing ambiguity and using these moments as opportunities for growth.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will leverage your skills to respond effectively to diverse perspectives and needs, using a broad range of tools and methodologies to generate new ideas and solve problems. You will develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is evolving, interpreting data to inform insights and recommendations. Upholding professional and technical standards, you will reinforce the firm's code of conduct and independence requirements, contributing to the delivery of client solutions and the firm's overall business strategies.
Responsibilities
- 4-7 years' experience in the same or closely related industry.
- Direct experience working with UK CT and REIT.
- Skilled in Excel and PowerPoint, MS Project or any other project Management tool.
- Financially literate: understanding of accounting and key finance concepts and processes.
- Strong background in UK CT, Property & Real Estate Tax, NRLs and REITs.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and manage budgets.
- Demonstrate leadership capabilities with a commitment to continuous learning and development.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team and work on multiple projects at once.
- Proven ability to delegate tasks and work streams to other team members and leverage other business shared resources to deliver complex financial models.
- Willingness to contribute to the creation of a new proposition and to bring new ideas/solutions to the table.
- Keen interest in staying up to speed with technology solutions and applying / implementing new ways of working / solutions to projects.

-Analyzing tax implications of mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions to optimize client outcomes
- Developing and implementing tax structures that align with client strategies and regulatory requirements
- Assisting clients in navigating complex tax regulations and providing strategic tax planning advice
- Utilizing tax modeling and restructuring skills to support client transactions and enhance tax efficiency
- Collaborating with clients to understand their business objectives and tailor tax solutions accordingly
- Interpreting data to inform insights and recommendations for client engagements
- Upholding professional and technical standards, including adherence to PwC tax and audit guidance
- Mentoring junior team members and providing guidance on complex tax issues
- Building and maintaining meaningful client relationships to anticipate and address their needs
- Leveraging a broad range of tools and methodologies to generate innovative tax solutions
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree in the following field of study: Accounting or Master's in Commerce
- At least 4 to 7 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
