The Opportunity
As a PwC Internal Partnership Tax Team - Mobility Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic tax consulting services, focusing on tax planning, compliance, and strategy to help businesses navigate complex tax regulations. Within our Tax practice, you will oversee tax-related issues affecting businesses in various areas, including local, foreign income, and transaction tax compliance. This role involves delivering tax consulting services on strategic and operational matters that impact businesses.
As a Senior Associate, you will develop meaningful stakeholder connections and anticipate needs. You will guide and mentor others, maintaining professional and technical standards while navigating complex situations. Your role will involve using critical thinking to break down complex concepts and develop a deeper understanding of the business context. You will also be responsible for interpreting data to inform insights and recommendations.

Responsibilities
- Overseeing tax-related issues impacting businesses, including local, foreign income, and transaction tax compliance
- Providing strategic tax consulting services to optimize business operations and compliance
- Navigating complex tax regulations to deliver insightful guidance and solutions
- Analyzing and interpreting tax data to inform recommendations and strategies
- Drafting and preparing comprehensive tax documents and returns
- Utilizing analytical thinking to address and solve tax-related challenges
- Collaborating with internal teams to enhance tax planning and compliance processes
- Maintaining professional and technical standards in alignment with firm guidelines
- Developing meaningful client relationships to anticipate and address their tax needs
- Embracing change to drive personal and professional growth
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 2 years of experience
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for a Master's degree
- At least one of the following: Certified Public Accountant, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity
- Demonstrating analytical thinking and business tax returns expertise

Travel Requirements

The salary range for this position is: $55,000 - $151,470. For residents of Washington state the salary range for this position is: $55,000 - $187,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
