Vice President, Infrastructure Solution Engineer

IndiaFull-timePosted Aug 7, 2026

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Infrastructure Solution Engineer (Java Backend Developer) to join our team. This role is located in Pune.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Design and implement solutions across on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.

  • Develop backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot to support automation, tooling, and platform integrations.

  • Build and maintain lightweight user interfaces (web dashboards, admin portals, or operational consoles) to expose infrastructure capabilities to end users.

  • Own the full development lifecycle end-to-end: requirements, design, coding, testing, deployment, and documentation — with minimal supervision.

  • Apply AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, ChatGPT) to accelerate development, generate boilerplate, write unit tests, and review code quality.

  • Collaborate with DevOps, network, and security teams to integrate solutions into existing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure workflows.

  • Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes across infrastructure and application layers.

  • Produce clear technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and runbooks for all delivered solutions.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • 8–14 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, with advanced degree preferred

  • Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot — REST APIs, microservices, dependency injection, and configuration management.

  • Experience developing or maintaining user interfaces (React, Angular, Vue, or similar web framework; Thymeleaf acceptable for internal tooling).

  • Solid understanding of infrastructure fundamentals: networking (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing), virtualisation, containerisation (Docker / Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver projects with minimal direction.

  • Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants as part of a regular development workflow.

  • Proficiency with version control (Git), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent), and agile delivery practices.
