Ruder Finn is looking for a Senior AI Video Producer to help create high-quality AI-generated and AI-assisted video content for agency and client work.
This is a hands-on creative production role for someone who can move fluidly from idea to execution. The role will be approximately 70% focused on AI-generated and AI-assisted video creation and 30% focused on broader creative production, live-action support, live edits, pitch films, sizzles, social content, case studies, internal videos, and client-facing video needs.
The ideal candidate can develop concepts, shape scripts, build visual approaches, generate AI assets, direct creative output, edit in Adobe Premiere Pro, create or source voiceover, work with music, refine timing, and deliver polished video pieces that feel intentional and client-ready.
This person should understand both the possibilities and limitations of AI video. They should be able to distinguish cinematic, emotionally effective, brand-appropriate AI work from generic, uncanny, or unfinished AI output — while also being comfortable supporting non-AI productions, fast-turn edits, and broader agency content needs.
Key Responsibilities
AI Video Creation
Create high-quality AI-generated and AI-assisted video content for Ruder Finn agency and client work, from concept through final delivery
Translate creative briefs, client needs, and strategic inputs into video concepts, scripts, treatments, visual references, shot lists, prompts, and production approaches
Use generative AI tools to create cinematic, social-first, documentary-style, influencer-style, brand, internal, pitch, and campaign video assets
Generate and refine AI visuals with a strong creative eye, motion, voiceover, music, and supporting assets using the right tools for each assignment
Build video sequences with clear story structure, emotional arc, strong pacing, music timing, editorial rhythm, and polished transitions
Help establish repeatable AI production processes, prompt systems, documentation, quality standards, and best practices
Stay current on emerging AI video, image, voice, audio, editing, and production tools
Recommend AI tools and workflows based on the creative need, timeline, budget, risk, and intended output
Follow agency guidance around AI usage, confidentiality, rights, likeness, client approvals, disclosure, and responsible production
Creative Production, Editing & Broader Video Support
Serve as a hands-on creative producer and editor for both AI and non-AI projects, including pitch films, social content, client presentations, sizzles, case study videos, internal videos, executive communications, live edits, and campaign assets
Edit primarily in Adobe Premiere Pro, including rough cuts, fine cuts, sound timing, music edits, VO placement, polish, versioning, and final exports
Support live-action, event-based, and fast-turn video needs when required, including pulling together footage, shaping story, creating quick-turn edits, and preparing client-ready cuts
Help develop treatments, moodboards, scripts, storyboards, visual references, production plans, and presentation materials
Partner with creative, strategy, production, account, digital, design, and client teams to bring ideas to life
Manage timelines, feedback rounds, priorities, and deliverables with strong attention to detail
Participate in brainstorms and contribute ideas that are strategically smart, visually compelling, and executable
Support client-facing conversations by explaining creative choices, production approaches, AI capabilities, production limitations, risks, and recommended paths forward

5–7 years of experience in video production, branded content, creative production, post-production, editorial, social content, film, advertising, PR, agency, or integrated communications environments
At least 1 year of meaningful hands-on experience creating AI-generated or AI-assisted video content
Strong hands-on editing ability in Adobe Premiere Pro; Premiere is the primary editing platform for this role
A strong reel, portfolio, or individual video samples showing video craft, storytelling ability, editing instincts, visual judgment, and AI-generated or AI-assisted work where applicable
Ability to clearly identify your role in submitted work, especially what you personally wrote, generated, directed, edited, produced, or finished
Strong understanding of cinematic language, including composition, camera movement, lighting, shot progression, mood, tone, and visual continuity
Excellent editorial instincts, including pacing, timing, music selection, emotional beats, transitions, voiceover placement, and story structure

Hands-on experience with AI video, image, voice, music, or creative tools such as Runway, Kling, Pika, Midjourney, ElevenLabs, Suno, Udio, Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT, or similar platforms
Ability to distinguish polished, cinematic AI work from generic, uncanny, unfinished, or low-quality AI output
Comfort working across different styles, including cinematic, social-first, influencer-style, documentary, brand anthem, explainer, pitch, internal, executive, and experimental formats
Experience creating pitch videos, campaign films, case studies, social assets, executive videos, client-facing creative prototypes, or similar content
Ability to work directly with internal teams and clients in a clear, confident, collaborative way
Comfort presenting creative work to clients and explaining the rationale behind creative and technical decisions
