About the Job
The Radiology Assistant supports patients of all ages and partners with Radiology team leaders and clinical staff across multiple imaging areas. Responsibilities include patient transport and preparation, scheduling exams, setting up exam rooms, supporting imaging workflows, providing patient education, and performing clerical and departmental support duties. The assistant will work directly with CT staff to coordinate patient scheduling, facilitate patient movement, and help maintain efficient departmental operations and workflow. Rotates through Radiology, CT, Inpatient, and Emergency Department settings.
Here is what you'll need
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Preferred:
- Past experience in diagnostic radiology is preferred which would include a general knowledge of radiology procedures.
- Current enrollment in radiology, or other licensed or certified health program preferred.
Licensure/Certifications:
- CPR certification from AHA (American Heart Association)

Pay Range: $15.66 -$21.10 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
