As a Management and Program Analyst (Program and Project Management Advisor), you will be responsible for developing, analyzing, and executing program and project planning and oversight that support the Office of Program and Project Management (OPPM). Location of position: General Services Administration (GSA), Public Building Services (PBS), Office of Program and Project Management (OPPM) We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed. Monitors and evaluates assigned National programs and initiatives. Plans and/or directs complex projects requiring evaluation and identification of a variety of operational problems, evaluating alternative solutions, and recommending appropriate action. Provides expertise, critical analysis, and authoritative advice on the interpretation, development and implementation of policy and measures nationwide. Defines and recommends new programmatic needs or modifications based upon consideration of such factors as the impact of new or anticipated technological developments, legislation, regulatory changes, agency policy, economic conditions, and automated systems capabilities. Leads innovative studies related to assigned programs and projects by introducing a wide range of advanced qualitative or quantitative methods to ensure efficiency, identify problems, and significantly improve program effectiveness. Reviews and evaluates effectiveness of recently implemented process improvements, resolves specific problem areas, and furnishes advice on the adequacy or feasibility of initiatives and recommendations.
