Maintenance Technician
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support equipment reliability and production uptime in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electrical systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on hydraulic systems and industrial equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues
- Maintain and repair diesel-powered forklifts and material handling equipment
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards
- Document maintenance activities and report ongoing issues
Qualifications
- 2+ years of maintenance technician experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics and electrical troubleshooting
- Experience working on diesel-powered forklifts required
- Ability to work extended hours, including overtime and weekends
- Strong problem-solving and mechanical skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
