The Vice President, Group Delivery Group Lead is an experienced individual contributor responsible for leading complex delivery initiatives across the Conventional Trust Deal Administration portfolio. This role is central to advancing a multi-year transformation agenda across products, processes, and operating models, with a strong focus on simplifying execution, modernizing workflows, reducing operational risk, and improving the client and employee experience.

The role supports BNY’s strategic pillars by improving quality, resilience, efficiency, and speed to market for clients and internal stakeholders. Acting as a subject matter expert and cross-functional delivery focal point, the individual models the BNY Principles through accountability, collaboration, curiosity, and a strong focus on client outcomes.

Build collaborative relationships across engineering, product, business, risk, finance, operations, and delivery teams to support alignment and execution.
Assist in maintaining roadmaps, backlogs, and planning activities by helping coordinate demand, capacity, timelines, and cross-functional dependencies.
Partner with stakeholders to provide visibility into key programs and initiatives, including tracking priorities, dependencies, milestones, risks, and action items.
Translate strategic direction into actionable plans, ensuring initiatives are clearly documented, tracked, and progressed to completion.
Coordinate leadership meetings, status reviews, decision forums, and follow-up activities to help drive transparency and operational effectiveness.
Contribute to governance, delivery excellence, and process improvement efforts through reporting, analytics, metrics, and risk tracking.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline (e.g., Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field).
5-8 years of experience leading delivery of large-scale technology initiatives within Agile environments, including experience coordinating work across multiple engineering teams and stakeholders.
Advanced delivery and program management skills, including planning, coordination, risk management, and execution in complex, cross-functional environments, with working knowledge of agile methodologies and tooling, backlog management, dependency tracking, milestone planning, and delivery reporting.
Demonstrated ability to organize complex initiatives, manage competing priorities, and drive follow-through in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to build effective relationships across a matrixed organization and collaborate with stakeholders at varying levels through clear communication, sound judgment, and a proactive approach.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear recommendations and actionable next steps.
Proven experience managing cross-team dependencies, release planning, delivery governance, risk management, and executive stakeholder communications within complex enterprise technology organizations.
Experience preparing reports, business updates, and presentations for leadership audiences.
Professional certification in project, program, or portfolio management (e.g., PMP, SAFe, Agile/Scrum) preferred.
